A new biographical film based on the life of revered spiritual leader Neem Karoli Baba is set to arrive in cinemas later this month. Titled ‘Shree Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj’, the Hindi-language film stars Subodh Bhave in the lead role and will be released in theatres on April 24, 2026.
According to a PTI report, the film traces the life and spiritual journey of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj, a figure deeply respected by followers across India and abroad. The narrative aims to capture his teachings, influence, and the legacy he left behind.
Directed by Sharad Singh Thakur, the film brings together a wide ensemble cast alongside Bhave. The lineup includes Hiten Tejwani, Samikssha Bhatnagar, Aniruddh Dave, Hemant Pandey, Rajesh Sharma, Milind Guna, Smita Tambe, Gourishankar, Aaartii Naagpal and Garima Agarwal, among others.
The film marks a significant project for Bhave, who is widely known for his work in Marathi cinema, as he steps into the role of a spiritual icon for a pan-India audience. With its focus on faith, philosophy and personal transformation, the film is expected to appeal to audiences interested in stories rooted in spirituality and real-life inspiration.
