South actress Sreeleela is all set to step into Bollywood with the upcoming romantic drama ‘Diler’, where she will be seen sharing screen space with Ibrahim Ali Khan. The film will mark Sreeleela’s first Hindi theatrical release and is expected to introduce a fresh on screen pairing to audiences.
Earlier, Sreeleela was widely expected to make her Hindi film debut opposite Kartik Aaryan in director Anurag Basu’s untitled romantic drama. However, with that project facing delays, reports suggest that ‘Diler’ will now become the actress’ first Bollywood release.
According to an UNI report, the film is being directed by Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Maddock Films. While the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding the release date, industry reports indicate that the film is targeting a Diwali 2026 theatrical release.
For Ibrahim Ali Khan, ‘Diler’ will be an important theatrical project as he teams up with one of South cinema’s fastest rising stars. Meanwhile, Sreeleela has gained nationwide popularity with her performances in Telugu cinema and her appearance in ‘Pushpa 2’: ‘The Rule’, making her Bollywood debut one of the most anticipated launches of the year.
