Sony MAX and Sony MAX 2 have announced the return of their iconic Ab Tak Bachchan film festival, now with an added twist — a “watch and win” contest that gives viewers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be part of the Kaun Banega Crorepati studio audience and meet Amitabh Bachchan.
The property, first launched by Sony MAX in May 2007, has been a celebration of Amitabh Bachchan’s cinematic legacy. This year, it will also serve as a build-up to the new season of KBC, combining entertainment with audience engagement.
Running from August 11 to August 22, the festival will air at 10.30 pm on Sony MAX and 8 pm on Sony MAX 2, featuring some of Bachchan’s most memorable films. Viewers can participate in the contest by watching the featured movies and answering four on-screen questions.
Participation is simple — audiences can type “Sony MAX” on the designated WhatsApp number or scan the on-screen QR code to start. After filling in the required details and consent form, participants can submit their answers to multiple-choice questions displayed during the film. Winners will get exclusive entry to watch KBC live and meet the legendary actor in person.
The Ab Tak Bachchan festival aims to not only honour Bachchan’s timeless contribution to Indian cinema but also give fans a unique opportunity to experience his magic up close.
