Sony MAX is bringing a week-long festive movie marathon to television with ‘MAX Dussehra Express’, featuring a mix of blockbusters, action spectacles, dramas and thrillers from October 17 to 23.

The special programming initiative will air daily at 8 pm, offering families a selection of films across genres during the Navratri and Dussehra festive period.

Built around themes of courage, conviction and the triumph of good over evil, ‘MAX Dussehra Express’ aims to make movie viewing a shared experience for audiences across generations.

The lineup brings together a diverse range of titles, including ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’, which delivers large-scale monster action, and ‘Lagaan’, the Aamir Khan-starrer sports drama centred on an underdog team’s fight against colonial oppression.

The marathon will also feature ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, a romantic drama, and ‘Mardaani 3’, a crime thriller. Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma’s satirical entertainer ‘PK’ is also part of the programming slate.

Adding to the mix are Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’, known for its culturally rooted storytelling, and Prabhas-starrer ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’, which brings epic action and spectacle to the festive lineup.

With films spanning action, romance, social satire, crime and sports drama, Sony MAX is positioning the initiative as a festive entertainment destination for viewers looking to enjoy popular cinema at home.

‘MAX Dussehra Express’ will air on Sony MAX from October 17 to 23, 2026, at 8 pm.
