Shemaroo Umang, Shemaroo Entertainment‘s Hindi GEC, is preparing to launch its third major original show, ‘Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho’.
Within four months, the channel successfully launched three diverse shows ranging from fantasy to romance, providing viewers with a non-stop 90-minute window of prime-time entertainment.
‘Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho’ is a romantic drama that delves into the untapped emotions of love. Amar Upadhyay, who has a special connection to ‘Kyunkii,’ will return to the show as both the lead actor and producer.
Along with him, Harsh Nagar and Priyanka Dhavale play the lead roles in the romantic drama.
‘Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho,’ set in Madhya Pradesh’s tourist capital of Gwalior, follows the lives of Kavya (Priyanka Dhavale), Ayushmann Bhargav (Harsh Nagar), and Karan Pratap Singh (Amar Upadhyay). Kavya, a simple middle-class girl, meets Karan, the love of her life. But things take a dramatic turn when reality sets in and their true colors are revealed.
‘Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho’ marks the debut of Amar Upadhyay as a producer and is co-produced by Suhail Zaidi.
The show has an ensemble supporting cast including Saptrishi Ghosh, Manish Khanna, Rohit Aggarwal, Deepti Kamat, and Keerti Adharkar among others in pivotal roles.
