Actor Shaad Randhawa is set to share screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana in filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming project, marking a new chapter in his acting journey. The film brings together Randhawa and Barjatya for the first time and adds another notable name to the director’s much-anticipated next venture.
According to a PTI report, the film will be Randhawa’s first collaboration with Barjatya, known for his family-centric storytelling and emotionally grounded cinema. While details about the film’s title, plot and release timeline are still under wraps, the association has already sparked interest given Barjatya’s distinctive filmmaking style and Ayushmann Khurrana’s strong track record with content-driven cinema.
Randhawa, who has previously been seen in projects such as ‘Saiyaara’ and ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’, said the role will present him in a completely new light. “All I can say is that this is a completely different role from anything I’ve portrayed before,” the actor said in a statement, hinting at a significant departure from his earlier performances.
The upcoming film is expected to blend Barjatya’s trademark emotional depth with a contemporary narrative, with Ayushmann Khurrana leading the cast. Randhawa’s inclusion adds another layer of curiosity around the project, especially given his emphasis on the contrast between this role and his previous work.
With filming details yet to be officially announced, the collaboration has already begun generating buzz, positioning the film as one of the more closely watched projects on the Hindi cinema slate.
