The creators behind ‘Scam 1992‘ are back with another hit. The teaser for their upcoming web series ‘Scam 2003: The Telgi Story‘ dropped on August 4.
Directed by Hansal Mehta and Tushar Hiranandani, the series delves into one of India’s major scams involving Abdul Karim Telgi.
This follows the franchise’s previous success in narrating Harshad Mehta’s tale in ‘Scam 1992’.
The upcoming web series ‘Scam 2003 – The Telgi Story’ delves deeply into the life of Abdul Karim Telgi, who pulled off a scam and amassed wealth by creating counterfeit stamp paper, Indian Express reported.
The first half of the teaser focused on the Telgi scam, while the second half featured scenes from ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story.’
