Samsung Electronics has secured the fifth position in Interbrand’s ‘Best Global Brands 2026’ ranking for the seventh consecutive year, with a brand value of USD 105.2 billion.
The company remains the only Asia-based organisation to maintain a place in the global top five every year since 2020, reflecting its continued focus on artificial intelligence (AI), technological innovation and customer-centric experiences.
According to a Samsung press release, Interbrand’s latest evaluation recognised the company’s record earnings, investments in AI semiconductors, growing competitiveness in AI-powered devices and its customer-focused brand strategy under the “One Samsung” approach.
Samsung’s Device Solutions (DS) Division continued to expand its business by increasing the supply of high-value memory products to meet rising demand from AI applications. The division also maintained its technological position with the industry’s first mass production and commercial shipment of HBM4 memory, which is designed to support the growing requirements of advanced AI systems.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division is focusing on making everyday life more convenient through personalised AI experiences and connectivity across its product portfolio, including smartphones, televisions and home appliances. The company is working to bring these connected experiences closer to consumers through its wider ecosystem of devices.
This year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold8, the eighth generation of its Galaxy foldable smartphone series. The device features a new form factor and a 4:3 display aspect ratio, marking the company’s latest effort to develop the foldable category. According to Samsung, the design has resonated with younger consumers while broadening the device’s appeal across generations.
Interbrand evaluates brands annually through an analysis of financial performance and future business outlook, the role of a brand in influencing purchasing decisions, and its overall competitiveness. The assessment also considers factors including brand strategy, empathy, differentiation, customer engagement, consistency and trust.
Samsung’s continued presence among the world’s five most valuable brands highlights its emphasis on AI-driven innovation, high-performance semiconductor technologies and connected consumer experiences as it works to strengthen its global brand position.
