Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is set to make her return to Telugu cinema with ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’, and the makers have now heightened anticipation by unveiling her first look from the film. Directed by BV Nandini Reddy, the upcoming drama has already generated strong buzz, and the newly released poster adds to the growing excitement around the project.
According to an IANS report, the first look poster features Samantha standing inside a bus, dressed in a simple brown saree, with an intense and confrontational expression that immediately draws attention. The image hints at a gritty, action-driven narrative, with Samantha appearing ready to take on a fight, her eyes reflecting steely determination and resolve.
Sharing the poster with her fans on Instagram, Samantha wrote, “You just keep watching… #MaaIntiBangaaram will be connecting with y’all.” She also announced the teaser trailer release date, adding, “#MiBTeaserTrailer out on 9th JAN at 10 AM,” further fuelling curiosity around the film.
The shooting for ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’, which has been created by Raj Nidimoru, has already been wrapped up. Notably, the film marks one of Samantha’s most physically demanding performances to date. She has reportedly performed the majority of the action sequences herself, many of them while wearing a saree, adding a distinct visual and emotional intensity to her character.
A source close to the project revealed that after her action-packed roles in ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Citadel’, Samantha was keen to push her boundaries further. “In Maa Inti Bangaram, she’s doing most of the action herself, and doing it in a saree. It’s physically demanding and visually powerful, a portrayal audiences rarely get to see,” the source said.
The film is being produced under Samantha’s home banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, in collaboration with Raj Nidimoru and Himank Duvvuru. Speaking about the project, producer Himank Duvvuru described ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’ as a story deeply rooted in emotion and values, yet presented with the scale and energy of an action spectacle. He added that Samantha performing most of the action herself brings a rare authenticity to the film, while the involvement of world-class technicians ensures a global standard of execution that remains distinctly Indian at heart.
With its intense visuals, action-heavy narrative and Samantha’s transformative performance, ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’ is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Telugu releases in the coming months.
