Superstar Salman Khan has commenced filming for his upcoming movie ‘Sikandar’, marking a new chapter in his illustrious career.
Directed by A R Murugadoss, known for blockbusters like ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’, the film promises to be a compelling addition to Bollywood’s Eid lineup in 2025, PTI reported.
Produced under the banner of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, ‘Sikandar’ casts Salman Khan in the titular role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, who gained fame with ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.
Expressing his excitement, Salman Khan shared on Instagram, “Looking forward to #Eid2025 with team #Sikandar #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss Releasing in cinemas EID 2025.” The announcement was accompanied by a snapshot featuring Salman Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, and A R Murugadoss, creating a buzz among fans.
Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment echoed the enthusiasm with a post on their official Instagram page, captioned, ‘The Sikandar Trio! Straight from the sets of the film!’
While Salman Khan was last seen on the big screen in 2023’s ‘Tiger 3’, Rashmika Mandanna’s recent appearance was in ‘Animal’, also released in the same year, setting the stage for their collaboration in this highly anticipated film.
As filming progresses, ‘Sikandar’ is poised to deliver another blockbuster under Salman Khan’s legacy, promising entertainment galore for audiences awaiting its theatrical release on Eid 2025.
