Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has announced the title of its much-awaited entertainment show featuring Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma. Titled ‘Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’, the show will mark the World Cup-winning captain’s debut in the entertainment space.
The family entertainment show will premiere on September 19 on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
According to SPNI press release from Mumbai, the show has been created as a family entertainer and is aimed at viewers across different age groups.
The programme will see Sharma take on a new role as he makes his first major appearance in an entertainment format.
Sharma’s entry into entertainment comes after his successful career in cricket, where he has led the Indian team and played a key role in India’s World Cup-winning campaign.
The show is part of Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV’s effort to bring new and distinctive entertainment formats to viewers. The platforms said the programme is designed to offer a family-friendly viewing experience.
