Richa Vaidya, a seasoned entertainment marketing professional, has joined T-Series as Deputy General Manager, Music Marketing, following an impactful tenure of nearly three years at JioHotstar.
Announcing her new role in a LinkedIn post, Richa expressed excitement about beginning this new chapter in her career. “After an incredible journey of 2.9 years at JioHotstar — where I had the privilege to lead digital-first content marketing strategies across original web series and major campaigns — I am excited to share that I will be joining T-Series as Deputy General Manager, Music Marketing,” she wrote.
She also extended gratitude to her mentors, teams, and partners at JioHotstar, saying she carries their “words of wisdom” forward as she steps into the ever-evolving music industry. “I look forward to enhancing my skills, learning, and growing in the dynamic world of music to build the next era of entertainment marketing,” Richa added.
During her time at JioHotstar (previously JioCinema and Voot Select under Digital Ventures), Richa played a key role in designing and executing high-impact content marketing campaigns across original web series, post-theatrical releases, and non-fiction formats. Some of her notable projects included ‘JioCinema Premium Launch’, ‘Vikram Vedha’, ‘Bloody’
‘Daddy’, ‘Kaalkoot’, ‘Bajao’, ‘Ranneeti’, ‘Murder in Mahim’, and ‘Shekhar Home’. Her creative leadership earned multiple industry accolades such as Best Marketing Campaign – Across Platforms and Best Marketing Campaign – Digital for Kaalkoot at the ScreenXX Summit, along with the Superhit Award for Execution Excellence at Viacom18 MAD Awards.
Before joining JioHotstar, Richa spent over seven years at Yash Raj Films, where she handled marketing and merchandising for major theatrical releases and digital campaigns both in India and overseas. Her portfolio featured blockbuster titles like ‘FAN’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Sui Dhaaga’, ‘War’, and ‘Pathaan’.
As she embarks on her new journey with T-Series, Richa said she is “ready for new collaborations, creative challenges, and making every campaign count.”
