Republic Media Network has announced the appointment of Ajay Bedi as Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer – Republic Digital and R. TV English, strengthening its senior leadership team at a time when the network is sharpening its focus on integrated growth across television and digital platforms.
Bedi will be responsible for leading the revenue strategy and operations for the network’s English television and digital businesses. His mandate includes driving growth across Republic TV English and Republic Digital, with a strong emphasis on aligning commercial strategy with the network’s broader business ambitions.
Ajay Bedi brings with him over 18 years of experience across media sales, revenue leadership and brand solutions. Most recently, he served as All India Head of Ad Sales at 9X Media, where he led revenue growth, business planning and market expansion across regions. During his tenure, he was closely involved in strengthening advertiser relationships and expanding the network’s commercial footprint.
Prior to 9X Media, Bedi spent nearly nine years at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited as Vice President – Sales. There, he played a key role in brand solutions, regional business operations and managing large sales teams across North and East India. His work contributed to building strong regional revenue streams and scaling integrated sales initiatives.
His career also includes senior sales leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company India and Viacom18, where he handled revenue generation, brand launches, client partnerships and team building. Earlier in his career, he was associated with Zee Entertainment Enterprises in managerial roles, gaining foundational experience in media sales and operations.
At Republic Media Network, Bedi will take full charge of English and digital revenue, focusing on sharper execution, deeper integration between television and digital offerings, and accelerated growth across platforms. The network expects his appointment to bring renewed momentum and strategic clarity to its commercial operations.
