RedFM has appointed Sushant Singh Rathure as deputy general manager – sales. Based in Delhi, he will oversee special projects in the north, manage government and PSU accounts, and lead the UP cluster.
Rathure, a business growth specialist with nearly two decades of experience in advertising sales and brand partnerships, joins from Music Broadcast Ltd, where he served as associate vice-president, heading RC Digital Labs and Radicity. He has previously held senior roles at Bharat Media Group, Sony Pictures Networks India, Star India, and The Times of India, building a strong track record in revenue generation, scaling media businesses and launching new formats.
This marks his second stint at RedFM. Between 2019 and 2022, he led sales for the Mumbai station. Speaking about his return, Rathure credited RedFM’s chief operating officer, Nisha Narayanan, for reposing faith in him, saying her “leadership and belief” would motivate him to deliver “with greater dedication and passion.”
A seasoned strategist with regional and national exposure, Rathure is recognised for forging alliances, managing P&Ls, and combining creative solutions with sharp media planning. His expanded mandate at RedFM signals a return to familiar ground — but with a wider remit and higher stakes.
