RED FM, one of India’s leading radio and entertainment networks, has officially launched Season 2 of its pan-India campaign, ‘Meme Machao’, aimed at discovering the country’s most promising meme creators. The initiative highlights the creative expression, humour, and cultural resonance of meme content that dominates the internet today.
The campaign is currently live across 36 Indian cities—from Delhi, Dehradun, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, and Kolkata to Kanpur, Jaipur, and Jhansi—giving meme-makers from all corners of the country a chance to participate and shine. The announcement was shared via an official press release by RED FM.
To take part, aspiring creators can collaborate with the campaign’s official handle @mememachaoOfficial and submit their meme entries through the dedicated Meme Machao microsite. The most impactful entries will be rewarded with cash prizes of up to Rs.1 lakh.
What sets this season apart is its jury—well-known meme page admins from India’s thriving meme community. The panel includes Tushar Sukhramani of Sarcastic US, Shivani Mishra of The Indian Memes, Manik Thatai of Nagarpalika Memes, and Suril Jain of Trolls Official. Their deep connection to the meme ecosystem adds authenticity and relatability to the judging process.
Commenting on the campaign, Nisha Narayanan, Director and COO, RED FM and Magic FM, said, “At RED FM, we’ve always tuned in to what drives this generation, and memes are right at the heart of that. They are more than just jokes; they are cultural commentary, visual storytelling, and a unique form of expression. With the second edition of Meme Machao, we’re taking this celebration of creativity to the next level.”
She further added, “Aligned with RED FM’s core philosophy of ‘Bajaate Raho’, we’re offering creators a space to be bold, original, and unapologetically themselves. This year promises to be bigger, bolder, and even more fun. We can’t wait to see the incredible talent that comes forward.”
As memes continue to dominate India’s digital storytelling, RED FM’s ‘Meme Machao’ returns at just the right time to nurture and celebrate the meme stars of tomorrow.
