Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda is set to star alongside Hollywood’s John Cena in the upcoming action film ‘Matchbox,’ directed by Sam Hargrave.
This collaboration marks Hooda’s second Hollywood project, following his role in the 2020 film ‘Extraction,’ also directed by Hargrave, PTI reported.
‘Matchbox’ is currently in production in Budapest, with additional filming planned in Slovakia and Los Angeles.
The film is inspired by Mattel’s iconic toy cars and features a diverse cast, including Jessica Biel, Sam Richardson, Arturo Castro, and Teyonah Parris.
The movie is produced by Apple Original Films, Skydance Media, and Mattel Films, with distribution through Apple TV+.
While an official release date has yet to be announced, the film is anticipated to offer a high-octane cinematic experience, combining the talents of both Bollywood and Hollywood stars.
