Prime Video to debut ‘The Rings of Power’ S2 Aug 29

The highly-anticipated second season of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ is set to premiere on Prime Video on August 29, 2024.

Amazon MGM Studios also announced that the Season Two soundtrack, composed by Emmy® Award-winner Bear McCreary, will be available worldwide on August 23.

The soundtrack, featuring new songs by renowned vocalists Rufus Wainwright and Jens Kidman, will be accessible across all music streaming services. A special Collector’s Edition will be available for pre-order on Amazon Music.

Season two delves deeper into the rise of Sauron and the creation of the Rings of Power, with new themes and dynamic musical influences. McCreary’s score includes contributions from Bulgarian women’s choirs, children’s choirs, and the Hardanger fiddle, enhancing the epic narrative.

The series, produced by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, along with a stellar team of executive producers, promises to build on the success of its first season, which garnered over 100 million viewers worldwide.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
