Prime Video has announced November 7, 2024, as the premiere date for the highly anticipated series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’.
This Indian Original series, part of the global ‘Citadel’ franchise, is directed by Raj & DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK) and written by Sita R. Menon along with Raj & DK.
Produced by D2R Films and Amazon MGM Studios, the series is executive produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO, including Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Scott Nemes, alongside David Weil (Hunters) and Midnight Radio.
According to Prime Video press release, the show stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha in lead roles, with Kay Kay Menon and a notable ensemble cast including Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar. ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The announcement was made at a vibrant event featuring fans of the lead actors and the directors. The release of a thrilling teaser highlighted the series’ high-octane action, stellar performances, and visual grandeur. Set in the ’90s, ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ blends intense spy action with a heartfelt love story.
