In a landmark moment for Indian media and governance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated India’s transformation in media, manufacturing, and governance while endorsing the launch of iTV Network’s global news channel, NewsX World, at NXT Conclave 2025. The event, attended by top government officials, media leaders, and international dignitaries, underscored India’s growing influence on the world stage.
During his keynote speech, PM Modi hailed NewsX World as a groundbreaking platform that reflects India’s journey towards global leadership. “Today, we are not just launching another news channel. We are showcasing the real India—its innovations, its heritage, and its future,” he declared. He credited bold governance, economic reforms, and policy-driven strategies for India’s shift from a regional player to a global powerhouse.
Modi also highlighted the evolution of the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative into ‘Local for Global’, showcasing India’s success in exporting yoga, Ayurveda, turmeric, coffee, and technology-driven innovations. “Our local strengths have become global benchmarks, proving that India’s talent and resilience know no bounds,” he remarked.
He further outlined India’s major achievements, including:
- Successful conduct of the world’s largest elections, strengthening its democratic credentials.
- Rapid infrastructure growth, with new high-speed expressways and EV manufacturing hubs.
- Sweeping economic and policy reforms, positioning India as a global manufacturing leader.
- Dismantling outdated colonial-era laws, paving the way for a new era of governance.
With NewsX World, iTV Network aims to redefine global news coverage by shifting away from sensational debates to insightful policy discussions and real-world progress. PM Modi commended Kartikeya Sharma and the iTV Network team, urging them to amplify India’s voice on the world stage. “India is rising, and its media must rise with it,” he concluded.
The launch of NewsX World marks India’s major step into global media leadership, reflecting the country’s rise as a force shaping the future of innovation, governance, and economic progress.
