Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his appreciation for News18’s Rising India summit, which ended on Thursday, in a tweet. PM Modi retweeted Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s post about the launch of the Coffee Table Book “Voice of India – Modi and His Transformative Mann ki Baat” at the News 18 Rising India summit.
“As this show approaches its hundredth episode, I applaud efforts like @CNNnews18’s to recognize the people mentioned and the impact they have made,” PM Modi said in a tweet.
The two-day Rising India conference was a powerhouse gathering of the country’s top newsmakers.
Rising India was conceived to provide an engaging platform for leaders from various sectors such as arts, sports, business, and academics, both from India and around the world, to engage in constructive discussions about how to continue advancing India’s progress. This year’s summit celebrated the extraordinary accomplishments of “ordinary people” who have had an “extraordinary social impact.”
The mega-event honored 20 such heroes for developing innovative solutions that are making a difference at the grassroots level and launching social entrepreneurship ventures with the potential to transform lives, initiating community-led programs that are bringing positive change in various ways, and demonstrating acts of compassion and courage that are helping to make India a better place.
