The wait is finally over for anime fans as the much-awaited third season of ‘One Punch Man’ is set to premiere on October 12, bringing back the overpowered hero Saitama and his world of action-packed satire.
Quoting Variety magazine, an ANI report said manga and anime platform Viz Media has announced that the new season will stream across several major platforms worldwide. The series will be available on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in Canada, while Netflix will carry it in Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. Fans in Latin America and Oceania will also be able to stream the premiere on Crunchyroll.
This marks one of the largest multi-platform rollouts for a global anime title, reflecting the immense popularity of ‘One Punch Man’ across continents. The hit franchise follows Saitama, a seemingly ordinary man who can defeat any enemy with a single punch, often to his own frustration as he searches for a worthy opponent.
Viz Media’s acquisition of the series includes theatrical, television, digital, home entertainment, ancillary, and merchandise rights across North America, Latin America and Oceania, signaling a massive international push for the upcoming season.
