In a significant move aimed at bolstering their presence in the broadband sector, ONEOTT Intertainment Ltd. (OIL) and 7Star Group have announced a strategic partnership.
OIL, ranking as India’s 4th largest private Internet Service Provider (ISP) and a subsidiary of Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd. (HGS), joins forces with 7Star Group, a prominent regional ISP renowned for its strong network in Mumbai and Maharashtra.
The alliance is poised to capitalize on the burgeoning demand for broadband services, particularly in Maharashtra, where both companies plan to focus their initial efforts. By combining their resources, OIL and 7Star aim to enhance service delivery and expand their footprint across other markets.
Under this collaboration, the partners intend to offer integrated solutions extending beyond broadband to include services such as OTT, IPTV, WIFI, VoIP/intercom, and customized CCTV solutions. This strategic move underscores NXTDIGITAL Media Group’s commitment to providing value-driven services and sets a precedent for industry players to collaborate in delivering comprehensive solutions to customers.
Vynsley Fernandes, the Whole-time Director at HGS and MD/CEO of OIL, expressed optimism about the partnership, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in driving broadband uptake. Nadir Ali Jairaj and M M Devendran, founders of 7Star Group, echoed Fernandes’ sentiment, highlighting their excitement to align with OIL and capitalize on the growth opportunities in the broadband market.
