NODWIN Gaming has reported a consolidated revenue of Rs.106.04 crore for the first quarter (Q1) of FY26, while significantly improving its operational efficiency despite the quarter traditionally being its slowest due to business seasonality.
According to a NODWIN Gaming press release today, the company said its EBITDA loss stood at Rs.11 crore in Q1 FY26 and is expected to improve to Rs.7.53 crore in Q1 FY27, marking a 32 percent improvement. According to the company, this reflects stronger cost control and better operational discipline while continuing investments in content, intellectual properties (IPs), and global expansion.
During the quarter, NODWIN Gaming expanded its portfolio by entering new categories such as trading cards, board games, premium pop-culture merchandise, and ‘The National Math Bee’ in partnership with Bhanzu.
It also announced the international expansion of its creator-led gaming reality show ‘Playground’, which will launch in the United States alongside its India edition later this year.
The company further strengthened its content pipeline by extending its partnerships with Rusk Media for the 2026-27 editions of their projects.
In the gaming business, NODWIN partnered with Garena to support the growth of ‘Free Fire MAX’ in India through esports tournaments, creator-led content, and live events. Beyond gaming, the company’s partner services business continued to grow internationally by delivering projects for the Saudi Football Federation and the Belgian Football Association.
NODWIN said it has temporarily paused acquisitions after ending funding for Freaks4U to strengthen its merger and acquisition strategy and focus on organic growth.
The company expects around 30percent organic growth during the current financial year before restarting acquisitions.
Several business changes are also expected to improve profitability in the coming quarters. One of its major global PUBG Mobile events has shifted from Q1 to Q2 due to scheduling changes.
Additionally, NH7 Weekender has adopted a licensing model in India, while Comic Con India has moved to direct ticket sales, which the company believes will improve revenue and cost efficiency.
The company also strengthened its position in global esports after being named India’s National Team Partner for the inaugural Esports Nations Cup 2026. Team India has already qualified in seven game titles for the Riyadh Finals.
On the technology front, NODWIN has deployed more than 10 AI-powered workflow solutions across departments including Finance, HR, Legal, Sales, and Production. These initiatives are expected to save nearly Rs.12 crore in software costs over the next three years.
The company also expanded its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to cover all employees. It said employee attrition remains below 5 percent , while
founders of all acquired businesses continue to lead their respective operations.
Commenting on the results, Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, said the company has focused on improving efficiency, investing in technology, refining its acquisition strategy, and strengthening its content and live entertainment businesses.
He added that these efforts are helping build a stronger business with sustainable long-term growth and preparing the company for future opportunities in the public markets.
