India’s biggest esports spectacle is back with even more excitement. NODWIN Gaming, in partnership with JioStar, has announced the return of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS), with OnePlus onboard as the Title Sponsor and Android as the Co-Title Sponsor.
According to a NODWIN Gaming press release, BGMS Season 4, which began earlier this month, is airing live on Star Sports Khel and JioHotstar every evening from 5 PM to 8 PM until September 14. With a prize pool of INR 1.5 crore, the tournament promises high-octane battles, a new dual-structure format, the inclusion of all-women teams, and the much-anticipated return of the bounty system.
This year also introduces the ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India Challenger Series’ (BGCS), a feeder league for amateur talent featuring 24 teams, including qualifiers from OnePlus Campus Dominate, TVS Raider Wicked Battles, and four all-women squads. The BGCS matches are streamed daily on NODWIN Gaming’s YouTube channel from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, spotlighting the next generation of esports athletes.
Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, said the tournament has grown into a cultural movement for India’s gaming community. “Season 4 takes this vision further by championing inclusivity at every level, from campus qualifiers to all-women teams on national television,” he noted.
Alongside OnePlus and Android, several big brands have partnered with BGMS this season. Swiggy has joined as the Official Food Delivery Partner, Bisleri as the Official Hydration Partner, TVS Raider as the Official Mobility Partner, Red Bull as the Energy Partner, and Duolingo English Test as the Official Learning Partner, which will also introduce a Gujarati language broadcast feed.
The OnePlus Campus Dominate initiative, TVS Raider Wicked Battles, and grassroots esports efforts are also helping connect with new audiences. With this mix of competitive intensity, inclusivity, and strong sponsor backing, BGMS Season 4 is expected to further cement its place as India’s most-watched esports tournament.
