The AI anchor was unveiled at the recently concluded ‘Education Summit: Season 04’ event. This significant milestone for News18 Punjab/Haryana has become the country’s first live ground event launch of an AI anchor.
The presence of AI Kaur on the screen captivated the audience. AI Kaur not only greeted the attendees in Punjabi but also posed probing questions to the panelists in English.
Her extraordinary presence at the event left an indelible impression on all who attended, who praised News18 for its pioneering initiative.
Education Summit S4, themed ‘Innovate, Educate, Elevate,’ provided an exceptional platform for dialogue, discussions, and felicitations.
It exceeded expectations with its unique addition—an AI anchor—following the success of previous editions. AI Kaur engaged in insightful discussions with the panelists, exploring various aspects of leveraging artificial intelligence to transform the education system, yielding new suggestions and fruitful conclusions.

During his keynote address, Dr. Ajay Bhatish, Deputy Director of Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, shed light on the ongoing transformations in Punjab’s education sector.
