This grand celebration recognizes individuals who have significantly contributed to India’s global stature and made every Indian proud. The awards honor exceptional achievements across various domains, including arts, sports, and social service, spotlighting the dedication and innovation that define India’s spirit.
An eminent jury panel was tasked with selecting the honorees for this year’s event. The panel included prominent figures such as Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa and former CEO of NITI Aayog; Justice Ranjan Gogoi, former Chief Justice of India and current Rajya Sabha MP; P.T. Usha, IOA President and Member of Parliament; Dr. Randeep Guleria, renowned pulmonologist and former AIIMS Director; and Lt. Gen. K.J.S. Dhillon (Retd.), a highly decorated military leader.
This year’s honorees represent excellence in their respective fields, leaving an indelible mark on society. Grammy-winning violinist L Subramaniam, acclaimed actor Dhanush, and former cricketer Harbhajan Singh are among the recipients. Renowned singers Gurdas Maan, Udit Narayan, and Kavita Krishnamurthy, along with classical dancer Sonal Mansingh and actor-educationist Swaroop Sampat, are also being celebrated. Environmentalist Jadav Payeng, famously known as the Forest Man of India, and the iconic Sufi singing duo Puranchand Wadali and Lakhwinder Wadali complete this distinguished list of awardees.
The event has attracted participation from several esteemed dignitaries, including Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Giriraj Singh, Mansukh Mandaviya, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Chirag Paswan. Atishi, the Chief Minister of Delhi, and Smriti Irani, a former Union Minister, are also among the notable attendees, alongside celebrated athlete and Rajya Sabha MP, P.T. Usha.
