Fans asked and Netflix listened. Tudum, a global fan event, is back, bigger than ever and in physical form after two years as a virtual event.
The 2023 Tudum livestream will be broadcast in front of thousands of fans in São Paulo, Brazil to audiences around the world on June 17, Netflix said yesterday.
Fans can tune in live to YouTube.com/Netflix to watch an exciting two-hour event featuring Netflix stars and creators from across the globe to hear exclusive news and see never-before-seen footage, trailers and first looks of one’s favourite series, films and games.
The talents who are scheduled to appear live in Brazil, though subject to change, include Chris Hemsworth, Sam Hargrave (‘Extraction’), Arnold Schwarzenegger (Fubar); Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Alia Bhatt (Heart of Stone); Chase Stokes (Outer Banks); Jess Hong, Benedict Wong, Jovan Adepo, Alex Sharp, John Bradley (3 Body Problem); Henry Cavill, Anya Charlotra, Freya Allan, Joey Batey (The Witcher); Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Sofia Boutella (Rebel Moon); Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton); Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Yuvraj Menda, Agastya Nanda and Vedang Raina (The Archies); Jenna Ortega, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday (Wednesday); Lily Collins (Emily In Paris); Omar Sy (Lupin), amongst many others.
Tudum, inspired by the sound you hear just before a series or film starts on Netflix, is also the biggest Netflix event worldwide, celebrating the streamer’s brand-defining films, series, talent and creators.
This year’s global livestream signifies the event’s return to Brazil – the location of the first Tudum in-person event in 2020 — and builds upon Netflix’s three-day convention event taking place June 16-18 in Brazil.
Featuring over 2,000 square meters of activities, games, live music, and more, the convention will also give attendees the chance to see their favorite stars up close.
For fans based in or traveling to São Paulo, the global live stream event is ticketed separate from the activities inside the Bienal, and will be available for free starting June 2 on a first-come, first-serve basis through Tudum.com/event.
