Netflix, in collaboration with YRF Entertainment, has unveiled the intense trailer of its upcoming crime thriller ‘Mandala Murders’, setting the stage for a gritty, layered chase through a world of shadows, secrets, and psychological intrigue.
In an official announcement, Netflix described ‘Mandala Murders’ as a “multi-season investigative series that delves into a string of bizarre killings that are as symbolic as they are brutal.”
Produced by Yash Raj Films’ digital arm YRF Entertainment and directed by Gopi Puthran (‘Mardaani 2’), the show stars Vaani Kapoor in her streaming debut, alongside Vaibhav Raj Gupta (‘Gullak’), Jameel Khan, and Surveen Chawla in pivotal roles.
The trailer introduces viewers to the haunting world of Mandala — a city seemingly caught between myth and menace — as a mysterious pattern of murders emerges. Kapoor plays a sharp, emotionally layered officer tasked with navigating psychological horrors and hidden traumas, all while racing against time to stop a killer whose motives remain buried in a complex web of past sins and present chaos.
A haunting score and unsettling visuals fill the trailer, hinting at a cat-and-mouse narrative where nothing is as it seems. “Each murder leaves behind a pattern. Each clue twists the case further. Welcome to the Mandala Murders,” Netflix teased on social media while launching the trailer.
Director Gopi Puthran, known for blending social commentary with edge-of-seat drama, has described ‘Mandala Murders’ as “not just a crime thriller, but a story of human psychology, justice, and redemption that unfolds over time and tests its characters to the core.”
The series is part of YRF’s broader expansion into digital content, following the success of ‘The Railway Men’.
