NDTV Network made a resounding impact at the debut edition of the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025, held in Mumbai from May 1 to 4. With a spectacular mix of high-powered panel discussions and an experiential pavilion that captivated thousands, NDTV positioned itself not just as a media house, but as a thought leader at the heart of India’s evolving entertainment landscape.
At the NDTV Pavilion, visitors were treated to an immersive journey through the network’s rich legacy and future-forward vision. One of the biggest draws was the “NDTV Anchor Play” experience, where attendees got a taste of being a real-time news anchor, reporting live from WAVES. These fun, social-media-ready moments went viral quickly, driving a surge of user-generated content and boosting NDTV’s digital reach across platforms.
The Archive Corner gave a nostalgic glimpse into NDTV’s landmark moments in Indian journalism, reminding audiences of the brand’s enduring credibility. In another corner, an interactive fake news-busting game encouraged media literacy by helping attendees distinguish between real and misleading information — a nod to NDTV’s ongoing battle against misinformation. The Interview Corner, meanwhile, kept the energy buzzing with real-time chats hosted by NDTV’s anchors, featuring influencers, film stars, and key media players.

According to a report by NDTV, the pavilion wasn’t the only place where the brand took center stage. Across four standout panel discussions hosted by senior NDTV editors Sanjay Pugalia, Tamanna Inamdar, and Marya Shakil, some of the biggest names in entertainment and media took the stage.
Stars like Aamir Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shefali Shah, Zahaan Kapoor, and creators such as Nikkhil Advani, Vikramaditya Motwane, Stanley Tong, and Sudip Sharma joined platform leaders like Gaurav Gandhi, Monica Shergill, Sameer Nair, and Vivien Lewit to explore themes like the future of storytelling, authenticity in the age of AI, and the business side of the content boom. The sessions were met with packed halls and high audience engagement, underlining NDTV’s relevance in shaping the narrative of India’s content revolution.
Throughout the summit, NDTV reporters delivered real-time coverage, exclusive ground reports, and backstage interviews, keeping audiences nationwide connected to the pulse of WAVES 2025. Speaking about the network’s presence, NDTV’s Director & Editor-in-Chief Sanjay Pugalia said, “NDTV’s active participation at WAVES 2025 reflects our commitment to shaping the future of media as industry leaders driving global conversations. From curating high-impact sessions to creating one of the most engaging pavilions at the summit, our goal was to contribute meaningfully to WAVES’ success and to firmly position the NDTV Network at the forefront of India’s dynamic and evolving media ecosystem.”
NDTV’s presence at WAVES was a powerful blend of entertainment, insight, and audience interaction — a firm reminder that in India’s shifting media terrain, the brand remains both a storyteller and a standard-bearer.
