NDTV India is all set to launch one of its most ambitious cultural initiatives this summer with ‘Creators Manch’a day-long festival of ideas, expression, and storytelling that will bring together some of the most influential and beloved voices across literature, cinema, poetry, and digital media.
Scheduled to be held on June 27 in New Delhi, the event promises to be a celebration of India’s creative soul, featuring an extraordinary line-up of speakers, performers, and creators.
According to a press release by NDTV India, it described ‘Creators Manch’ as a platform that goes beyond showcasing talent — one that seeks to honour and engage with the people who shape the cultural imagination of India. From celebrated icons to emerging voices, the event will span 16 sessions across formats including one-on-one conversations, panel discussions, writing workshops, and live performances.
Among the marquee names headlining the event are lyricist and poet Javed Akhtar, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, author Chetan Bhagat, and poet Kumar Vishwas. They will be joined by a vibrant ensemble including Banu Mushtaq, Anvita Dutt, Alok Shrivastav, Ashutosh Agnihotri, Jaya Kishori, Satya Vyas, Divya Prakash Dubey, Aditi Maheshwari, Milee Ashwarya, Anamika, Garima Srivastava, Gagan Gill, Manisha Kulshreshtha, Arpana Caur, and Reena Lath.
The platform will explore a wide range of topics relevant to the cultural landscape today — from the role of poetry in public life to storytelling in the digital era, from enduring literature to the evolution of performance art. Each session is designed to foster meaningful conversation, cross-generational dialogue, and a deeper understanding of the creative process.
“This is a rare and vibrant confluence of youthful energy and seasoned wisdom — a space where generations converse and creators reflect not just on their craft, but on the times we live in,” said Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor in Chief, NDTV, while announcing the initiative. “Creators Manch is a platform built not just to showcase creativity, but to honour the people behind it — those who express the spirit of the times and gently shape its future.”
The event will culminate in a soulful performance by Kabir Café, known for blending the mystic verses of Kabir with modern soundscapes — a fitting finale to a day devoted to rhythm, memory, and imagination.
With full-scale amplification planned across NDTV India’s broadcast, digital, and social platforms, ‘Creators Manch’ is poised to become a cultural moment that extends far beyond the venue — reaching into homes, social conversations, and the hearts of audiences across the country.
