NDTV India has announced the appointment of Sucherita Kukreti as senior executive editor and prime time anchor, marking a significant addition to its newsroom leadership. Bringing with her over two decades of experience in television journalism, Sucherita is known for her command over both Hindi and English, her sharp on-air presence, and her ability to approach complex issues with balance and conviction.
According to an NDTV press release, Sucherita has helmed several high-impact Hindi debates and English prime-time shows through her career, earning respect for her clarity, credibility, and thoughtful anchoring style. Her career began at India TV, where she quickly gained prominence for her incisive reporting and engaging delivery. In 2019, she joined Republic Bharat for her second stint, where she anchored the flagship debate show Mahabharat and became one of the most recognisable faces in Hindi television news.
An alumna of Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, Sucherita holds a degree in English Literature. Her academic grounding complements her journalistic instincts, enabling her to approach complex issues with nuance and insight. She was honoured by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel for excellence in journalism, a testament to her impact and credibility in the field.

With her mix of experience, clarity, and conviction, Sucherita embodies the spirit of the new NDTV — rooted in credibility, powered by clarity, and committed to journalism with depth and purpose.
