Popular Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is returning to theatre after almost 25 years with a new play called Naqaab. Before becoming a successful film actor, Nawazuddin started his acting career in theatre, and he says coming back to the stage feels very special.
According to an ANI report, the actor shared that theatre has always been close to his heart. He said performing live in front of an audience is a unique experience because every show is different, and the audience’s reactions make each performance special. Theatre helps actors improve their acting skills and stay connected to their roots.
Naqaab is a comedy thriller that combines humour, suspense and drama. In the play, Nawazuddin will be seen playing three different characters, giving the audience a chance to see his versatility as an actor.
The play is also special because Nawazuddin’s daughter, Shora Siddiqui, will make her theatre debut with Naqaab. This will be the first time the father and daughter perform together on stage.
Fans are excited to watch Nawazuddin Siddiqui return to live theatre after such a long time. His comeback is expected to be a memorable moment for theatre lovers as well as his fans across the country.
