Dina D’Souza has joined MX Player as senior vice president, according to her LinkedIn post.
In her new role, she will be driving the Direct and the OTT AVOD business for the organization.
Dina brings with her 20 years of experience across print, digital, ad tech, gaming, and commerce industries.
Her previous assignments have involved leadership and sales roles at Trell, Flipkart Ads, POKKT, 9X Media, Microsoft, Yahoo!, and Bennett Coleman & Co. Limited.
She is an experienced sales leader and well-known in the Indian digital media industry.
She led the advertising business for Flipkart Ad’s 3rd party media partnerships. She drove the data monetization and agency strategy for Flipkart’s shopper audience network and the Big Billion Day Externalization and Sponsorships opportunities.
Before joining Flipkart, she was with POKKT, where she drove the brand sales and revenue goals for the organization in India. She was a part of the core team which built the brand in India.
D’Souza is expertise in sales leadership, people management, sales strategy, design thinking, media monetization, advertising sales, planning & execution, stakeholder management, sales forecasting & pipeline management, mobile advertising, online gaming, ad tech, digital consumer trends, trade negotiations, pricing & yield management, coaching and mentoring.
