Paramount plus has renewed crime drama series ‘MobLand’ for a third season, with Tom Hardy returning as Harry Da Souza, the fixer for the Harrigan crime family.
According to an ANI report from Los Angeles today, the renewal comes ahead of the Season 2 premiere, which is scheduled for September 18. Hardy will return alongside Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, who play Conrad and Maeve Harrigan.
Hardy’s return comes after reports of behind the scenes tensions involving the actor, writer Jez Butterworth and producer David Glasser. The reports had raised questions about whether Hardy would continue with the show, but Paramount plus has now confirmed his return.
Paramount plus announced the renewal with the message, ‘The Harrigans aren’t going anywhere.’ The third season will continue the story of the Harrigan crime family and Harry Da Souza.
