Mirchi launches ‘Mirchi Unpopular Opinion with Mirchi Mohor’ talk show

Mirchi, India’s leading city-centric music and entertainment company, has announced the debut of ‘Mirchi Unpopular Opinion with Mirchi Mohor,’ an intimate chat show where artists engage in unfiltered conversations with Mohor in ‘The Closet’ to reveal their stories and bold choices.

Hosted by Mirchi Mohor, the show aims to delve beyond the surface of influencer and celebrity lives, exploring their authentic selves through heart-to-heart exchanges inside a designer closet space. The choice of the closet serves as a metaphor for the depth and vulnerability of the conversations taking place within the show, where individuals often conceal their true identities.

In a landscape where quick popularity often overshadows the imperfections of influencers and actors, “Mirchi Unpopular Opinion” celebrates the diverse and difficult choices that have shaped the journeys of these inspiring individuals.

Sushanta Panda, Business Director of Mirchi Bangla, expressed excitement about the show’s launch, stating that it goes beyond superficial layers to resonate deeply with today’s youth in Bengal.

The series has already shot four episodes featuring various celebrities and influencers, including designer Abhishek Roy, actor-turned-influencer Swastika Dutta, food vlogger Kamalika Dey, influencers Prerana Das and Preeti Sarkar, actor-turned-influencer Devlina Kumar, and Gourab Chatterjee, who is also Uttam Kumar’s grandson.

Speaking about the show, Gourab Chatterjee expressed gratitude for providing a platform to discuss the lesser-known aspects of their lives.

The on-ground launch event brought together artists from the shot episodes and those from upcoming ones, creating an exciting atmosphere for guests and fans alike. Mirchi Bangla hosted a creators’ meet alongside the launch, welcoming celebrities and influencers like Mukul Kumar Jana, Richik Ghosh, Amitesh, Soham Sinha, Anuradha Mukherjee, and more.

With ‘Mirchi Unpopular Opinion with Mirchi Mohor,’ Mirchi Bangla aims to revolutionize talk shows by highlighting the genuine side of celebrities and influencers in a relatable and captivating manner.
