Mirchi, India’s largest city-centric music and entertainment company, launched the Mirchi app on Apple, Android, and Apple Car Play smartphones in the US, UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain.
The Mirchi app brings 12 live FM stations from 11 cities in India – Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Chandigarh, and Patna.
The app presents a convenient shortcut for someone from these cities (US, UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain) living outside the country to consume content in their local language.
The stations are tuned, time-shifted to adjust for differences in time zones.
The app also offers hundreds of hours of curated audio stories in various genres.
Some of Mirchi’s popular shows like RJ Naved’s Murga prank calls, ‘The Bhatt Show’ hosted by Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt on Bollywood controversies and ‘The Devdutt Patnaik Mythology Show’ will be available on the app.
