Renowned South Indian actress Malvi Malhotra, known for her growing popularity in Tollywood, is set to make her debut in Punjabi cinema with ‘Haye Bibiye Kithe Fas Gaye’, directed by Simranjit Singh Hundal.
After gaining widespread recognition for her performances, particularly in the superhit film ‘Abhyuham’ and her recent release ‘Tiragabadara Saami’, ‘Malvi’ is now venturing into the Punjabi film industry.
In ‘Haye Bibiye Kithe Fas Gaye’, Malvi stars opposite Dhira Gill, alongside an ensemble cast featuring Anita Devgan, Iftikhar Thakur, Ravinder Mand, and Deedar Gill. As she transitions into this new genre, Malvi has taken Punjabi language tutorials to perfect her accent for the role, marking her dedication to delivering a strong performance.
Reflecting on her journey, Malvi shared, “I have always strived to impress my audiences with hard work in all genres. It’s an honour to be a part of the Punjabi film industry now.”
Following the release of ‘Haye Bibiye Kithe Fas Gaye’, Malvi will begin filming for her next Punjabi project, ‘Duma Dum Mast Kalandar’, which will be shot in Australia and Punjab. Her calendar is packed with exciting projects, both in the Punjabi and South Indian film industries.
