Director Venkat Prabhu’s highly successful film, ‘Maanaadu’, starring Silambarasan (Simbu), is set to make a grand return to theaters on January 31, as part of the celebrations for the actor’s upcoming birthday on February 3.
Producer Suresh Kamatchi shared the exciting news on social media, announcing that the film would be re-released to mark the special occasion. He wrote, “Happy Happy news!! Namma star #STR in pirandha naalai kondada meendum varugiradhu #Maanaadu” (To celebrate the birthday of our star STR, Maanaadu returns).
The re-release has generated massive excitement among fans, who are eagerly anticipating the chance to revisit the film on the big screen. S J Suryah, who played the antagonist in the film, also took to his social media to tease the fans about the re-release, fueling the anticipation even more.
The re-release is expected to coincide with major announcements regarding Silambarasan’s future projects, which will be revealed on his birthday, February 3.
