Mumbai-based international production company, Locomotive Global Media, has recently announced a strategic expansion of its creative team.
The move comes as part of the company’s commitment to produce and develop a diverse range of films, mid-size fictional shows, and non-fiction shows in India.
Locomotive Global has made key appointments to its creative family. Joining the team are three dynamic professionals, each bringing a unique skill set and expertise to deliver premium storytelling across various content formats.
According to a press release, Binitesh Baruri, an accomplished writer and filmmaker with over two decades of experience, has been appointed as the Creative Producer for Films. Binitesh, an alumnus of the FTII at Pune, is renowned for his work as an independent film director and producer of short fiction and feature documentaries.
His collaboration with industry stalwarts like Saeed Mirza, Sudhir Mishra, Subhash Ghai and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has earned him a distinguished reputation.
Meghna Joshi, an experienced creative director with an impressive 18-year career, joins as the Creative Producer for Series and Non-Fiction. Having contributed to successful shows such as ‘Rising Star,’ ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’, and ‘IIFA Awards‘, Meghna is known for infusing emotions, intellect, and entertainment into each project. Her expertise lies in crafting engaging narratives and producing compelling content.
Adding to the team’s strength is Yuvika Sharma, appointed as the Associate Creative Producer for Series.
With over 13 years of experience in both TV and OTT, Yuvika has worked with renowned production houses and prominent channels/platforms, including Sony Pictures Network, Discovery Communications, Zee TV, Eros International, and ALT Balaji.
