The second edition of Live Times XChange, held in Patna, emerged as a powerful platform where leadership, development, and fact-driven journalism intersected to spotlight Bihar’s transformation and India’s democratic aspirations.
Organised by Live Times, India’s first Global Multicast News Hub, the conclave fostered a new narrative rooted in transparency, public trust, and leadership anchored in truth. The event drew some of the state’s most prominent voices in politics and policymaking, reaffirming the role of constructive dialogue in nation-building.
According to an official press release issued by Live Times, the Patna edition aimed to amplify real stories and governance models that reflect India’s grassroots progress. The conclave’s unique structure allowed for open, respectful, and evidence-led discussion—bringing Bihar’s emerging developmental journey into sharp national focus. At the heart of it all was a call for restoring credibility in journalism and ensuring that the public receives clear, fact-based information in an age of growing misinformation.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary addressed the gathering, highlighting Bihar’s economic revival and policy strides from new medical colleges to bio-fuel innovation in the ethanol sector. Rural Development Minister Shrawon Kumar spoke passionately about the transformation of village life through widespread electrification, clean water supply, and the empowerment of women-led self-help groups. Former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav contributed his vision for a youth-led Bihar and called for inclusive governance rooted in innovation, investment, and media accountability.
Adding depth to the dialogue, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan reflected on India’s long-term journey to 2047, urging the country to balance scientific achievement with ethical consciousness. He reminded attendees of journalism’s moral responsibility—to stand firm in truth, resist manipulation, and act as a democratic pillar committed to national unity and cultural wisdom.
The Live Times XChange format, introduced by Founder and Editor-in-Chief Dilip Kumar Singh, is designed to cut through the clutter. “Live Times was launched because people were losing faith in the news,” Singh said during the session. “There’s too much noise, too many headlines without substance. We chose to stand for truth, for the people—‘Sampoorna Satya, Har Keemat Par.’ This isn’t just a slogan. It’s our commitment.”
As discussions ranged from infrastructure upgrades and policing to education reforms and transparent governance, the overarching message remained consistent: Bihar is making bold, structured progress, and platforms like XChange are instrumental in shaping informed civic awareness. The event served as a reminder that when leadership and media work in tandem—guided by facts and public interest—the result is a stronger democracy and a more empowered citizenry.
The Patna edition of Live Times XChange not only reinforced the channel’s editorial integrity but also showcased how public dialogue, if anchored in sincerity and substance, can become a beacon of transformation. As India marches towards its centenary of independence in 2047, initiatives like these are crucial in defending democratic values and ensuring that the truth continues to guide the nation forward.
