In a key strategic move to bolster its growing focus on the digital, technology, media and telecom (TMT) sectors, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has appointed Mihir Rale, former General Counsel and Head of Legal & Regulatory Affairs at Disney Star, as a Partner and Co-Head of its Digital and TMT
According to a report in The Economic Times, Rale will operate from the firm’s Mumbai office and will lead alongside current partner Rahul Goel.
The appointment is seen as part of CAM’s broader strategy to deepen its presence in the regulatory and transactional aspects of the digital ecosystem, including OTT platforms, data privacy, broadcasting, emerging tech, and digital infrastructure.
Rale brings nearly two decades of experience in navigating complex legal landscapes in India’s media and technology sectors.
