Kridhan Infra Limited has announced its entry into film production and media technology through its subsidiary Kridhan Mediatech Private Limited, marking its foray into filmmaking with the nationwide theatrical release of ‘Shatak: Sangh Ke 100 Varsh’, an artificial intelligence-led feature film.
With ‘Shatak’, the company is expanding its business portfolio beyond infrastructure, integrating artificial intelligence across key creative and production processes. The project represents Kridhan Infra’s first major step into the media and entertainment sector, positioning technology-driven storytelling at the centre of its filmmaking strategy.
The film commemorates the 100-year journey of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, portraying significant historical phases, personalities and milestones in its evolution. According to the company, artificial intelligence has been used across scripting visualisation, environment creation, modelling and production design, combining historical narrative with technology-enabled execution.
Kridhan Mediatech said its broader vision includes developing film production and media technology capabilities spanning artificial intelligence, computer-generated imagery (CGI), virtual production systems and scalable content models designed for both theatrical and digital platforms. The initiative is aimed at creating technology-enabled cinematic experiences while exploring new opportunities in the evolving entertainment landscape.
The company stated that the venture aligns with India’s expanding digital and artificial intelligence ambitions. India’s media and entertainment industry is currently valued at over Rs.2.5 lakh crore, while the AI economy is projected to witness significant growth in the coming years, creating new avenues for innovation across sectors, including content creation.
A company spokesperson said the project marks the beginning of efforts to build technology-driven cinematic experiences that combine India’s narrative heritage with innovation, adding that the initiative reflects a long-term commitment to integrating advanced technologies into storytelling and media production.
