Kratos Studios, the owner of the IndiGG IP, has unveiled its ambitious ‘Kratos Games Network’ programme, dedicating a substantial grant of Rs 50 crore to support gaming studios.
The initiative, scheduled to select the first 10-15 studios by March 2024, aims to empower Web2.0 gaming development studios and facilitate their transition to blockchain gaming.
According to Financial Express, the ‘Kratos Games Network’ grant will include access to the Kratos proprietary blockchain tech stack, offering a potential audience of 10 lakh users within the on-chain global gamer community. This integration of blockchain technology is anticipated to open new avenues for these studios to generate revenue for both developers and gamers.
The selection process will prioritize profitability over two to three years and studios with a minimum daily active user count of 500,000.
