Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to make her digital debut with the Indian adaptation of the American reality show, ‘Temptation Island’.
According to ANI, Kangana is going to be the host of the reality show, which will premiere on an OTT platform and the actor has already signed on the dotted lines. The shoot will start soon.
‘Temptation Island’is an American reality television program broadcast on Fox and USA Network in which several couples agree to live with a group of singles of the opposite gender, to test the strength of their relationships.
However, a press release did not reveal which OTT platform will air the desi version of the ‘Temptation Island’.
Apart from this digital show, Kangana is looking forward to the release of her Jayalalithaa biopic, ‘Thalaivi’. However, the film’s release date has been postponed due to the second wave of the coronavirus. A new date is yet to be announced by the makers.
The actress also has ‘Dhaakad’, ‘Tejas’, and ‘Emergency’ in her kitty.
Recently, Kangana welcomed Nawazuddin Siddiqui on board for her upcoming project, ‘Tiku weds Sheru’, which was earlier said to star Irrfan Khan.
In the last few years, OTT platforms have boomed worldwide. Indian actors who have tried their hands with this medium include Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Pankaj Tripathi and Manoj Bajpayee, Emran Hashmi. Even Akshay Kumar is said to be doing a web show.
