Instagram is commemorating the end of the year 2022 with an interactive feature that allows users to highlight their favorite moments of the year.
The app has debuted a series of Reels templates narrated by some of users’ favorite celebrities.
Teaming up with Bad Bunny, DJ Khaled, rapper Badshah and Priah Ferguson from Stranger Things, users can choose their preferred voiceover and compile Reels of standout moments in the form of photos and videos.
Users will manually select photos and videos from the previous year after selecting their template and celebrity narrator.
“I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, we have to start worrying less, life goes by too fast, so enjoy each moment. Just like this year, I’ll have it in my heart por siempre,” Bad Bunny said in his recap, translated from Spanish. “I’m grateful for all the amazing moments I was able to enjoy and all the people who formed part of it. Instagram, we’re all set for 2023!”
The recap will appear on the user’s profile under the Reels tab once it has been uploaded. Everyone will be prompted to make a 2022 recap Reel, or they can access the templates through the Reels browser or each narrator’s individual profile.
Templates will be available in English, Spanish, and Hindi from now until several weeks into 2023.
