Instagram has unveiled a groundbreaking feature called ‘Trial Reels’, designed to help content creators test their Reels with non-followers before sharing them with their established audience. This innovative tool aims to empower creators to experiment with fresh ideas, formats, and topics without risking their engagement metrics.
According to The Hindu, creators can enable the ‘Trial’ option when uploading a Reel. These trial posts will
Not appear on the creator’s profile grid or reach their existing followers unless manually shared later.
Key performance insights, including views, likes, comments, and shares, will be available within 24 hours of posting. Creators can also view comparisons of the trial Reel’s engagement against previous uploads, allowing for data-driven decision-making.
