The International Film Festival (IFP) has successfully concluded its fourteenth edition, drawing in over 15,000 attendees from around the world for a two-day celebration of creativity and culture at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai on October 12 and 13, 2024.
This year’s festival showcased a diverse lineup of sessions, workshops, and performances, positioning itself as a premier hub for talents across various creative fields.
This season expanded IFP’s reach into multiple disciplines, featuring renowned figures from Films & OTT, Music, Literature & Writing, Storytelling, Photography, Design & Art, and Comedy. Attendees participated in stimulating conversations, workshops, and live performances that emphasized the festival’s commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation within the creative industry.

The festival kicked off with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the acclaimed Hollywood actor, who made his first visit to India as the Opening Speaker. His session, titled “Festival Opener: On Mastering the Art of Embodying a Character & Building HitRecord,” alongside Indian actor Rajkummar Rao, set an inspiring tone for the event. Other notable sessions included discussions with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Guneet Monga, and Rajesh A Krishnan, among others, covering topics from film production to comedy.
A highlight of IFP Season 14 was the recognition of creative talents through its 50-hour challenges, which attracted participation from 54,000 individuals globally. These challenges provided a platform for aspiring filmmakers, musicians, and artists to showcase their work, culminating in awards presented on the festival stage.
Ritam Bhatnagar, the Founder of IFP, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, noting the exceptional engagement from participants and attendees. He highlighted the global nature of the festival, which welcomed participants from 42 countries and attendees from 9 countries, reinforcing IFP’s status as an international creative hub.

As IFP Season 14 wraps up, it has solidified its legacy as a leading festival for creativity and culture. With a focus on collaboration, innovation, and the celebration of artistic expression, the festival sets the stage for future editions, promising even more enriching experiences for creators and audiences alike.
