Mark your calendars for August 4, as the sci-fi sensation ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’, featuring the charismatic Hrithik Roshan, is all set to re-release in select theaters across India to celebrate its 20 years of ‘koi mil gaya’.
Directed by Rakesh Roshan, the film originally graced screens from August 8, 2003, and took audiences on an extraordinary journey with the heart-warming tale of Rohit (played by Hrithik Roshan), a young man with developmental challenges who befriends Jadoo, an extra-terrestrial.
The movie, which also stars Preity Zinta, Rekha, Prem Chopra, and Johnny Lever, will be re-released on PVR INOX screens across 30 cities in India this Friday. Rakesh Roshan, the filmmaker and producer behind the movie, expressed his excitement about the re-release and hoped that it would evoke a sense of nostalgia among viewers, Economic Times reported.
Speaking about the film’s enduring legacy, Rakesh Roshan said, “The team at PVR INOX reached out to us to celebrate 20 years of ‘Koi… Mil Gaya‘. I was happy to know of their plans, and we jointly decided to re-release the film. The idea is to relive the nostalgia.”
