Singer and music composer Himesh Reshammiya is set to return as a judge on Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming singing reality show ‘Indian Idol: Legends Return’, according to a PTI report from New Delhi today.

Reshammiya has earlier been associated with ‘Indian Idol’ as a judge and will now return to the popular singing reality show with its new edition. The upcoming show will bring together singers who have been part of different seasons of ‘Indian Idol’.

The show will feature several familiar faces from the ‘Indian Idol’ franchise, including Abhijeet Sawant, Salman Ali, Rishi Singh, Prajakta Shukre, Sayli Kamble, Mohd. Danish, Amit Sana and Anshika Chonkar.

‘Indian Idol: Legends Return’ will focus on singers from different generations of the show, bringing former contestants together in a new format. Himesh Reshammiya’s return will also mark his comeback to the judging panel of the singing reality show.

The upcoming edition will be available on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV. More details about the show, including its premiere, are expected to be announced by the channel.
