Guru Randhawa is making a strong mark on the global music stage, clocking an impressive 19.8 billion views on YouTube and emerging as one of the most-watched Punjabi artists worldwide.
According to an ANI report, the milestone places him ahead of several global names, including Dua Lipa and Drake, highlighting the growing international appeal of Punjabi music. Alongside the massive viewership, Randhawa has also recorded 108.9 million hours of watch time, signalling consistent engagement from audiences across geographies.
The achievement builds on a strong 2025 for the singer, during which he crossed 500 million audio streams, largely driven by his album ‘Without Prejudice’. The project marked a notable shift in his musical journey, blending his signature Punjabi style with a more global and polished sound.
Maintaining that momentum, Randhawa followed up with releases such as ‘Azul’ and ‘Shkini’, before stepping into 2026 with ‘Dopamine’. The steady stream of music points to a fast-paced and consistent release strategy that continues to expand his reach.
On Spotify, Randhawa has also secured multiple entries in the top 10 of the India Top 200 chart, further underlining his cross-platform popularity. His independent approach appears to be working in his favour, with each release building scale, visibility, and audience connection.
As regional music increasingly finds a global audience, Randhawa’s rise reflects a larger shift in listening patterns. With strong numbers and sustained momentum, his journey signals how Indian pop, particularly Punjabi music, is steadily carving out space on the international stage.
